Past partners projects

We supported a range of environmental projects between 2020 and 2025 which have helped to enhance biodiversity across the region.

From 2020 to 2025 we supported four major projects committed to conserving and enhancing biodiversity and aquatic habitats across the region, with £70,000 of funding across the projects per year as part of £350,000 overall.

Wider Wylye Strategy

This project used a series of projects and programmes to enhance the River Wylye catchment for wildlife and people, increasing the resilience of this unique chalk stream.

Wilder Waterways

Working in the Land Yeo catchment of the low-lying North Somerset Levels and Moors, east of Clevedon, the project engaged with communities, landowners and river users to explain the river’s story and role, improve water quality along the Land Yeo and within Tickenham, Nailsea and Kenn Moors and expand the area of re-wilding to help the farming community prepare for new opportunities.
